Spring Break!

Hey Y'all!

Since I am homeschooled our family does not usually do traditional Spring Break because we take off so many other times throughout the year, but we do find time to have fun during the week. (It's not all schoolwork)

Here are some things I did over spring break:

I got the new Hunger Games Book "Sunrise on the Reaping." This is definitely one of Suzanne Collins best books! I have been waiting for her to write this story for so long. I can't wait for the movie!

We painted our taekwondo building with friends and had a blast! It took all day but we managed to sneak some time in to go to the Wild Things Zoofari at the library. I got to paint and see a monkey all in one day.

We did a Spring Break class at Haley Nelson Park: a mix of workout and awareness level games. Try getting chased by someone while unlocking a car, after you'll feel like you just ran a marathon. It was a fun change to our usual schedule.

We went to the Prison museum and the Sam Houston Memorial Museum in Huntsville. They were so cool and definitely worth the drive.

The highlight of the Prison Museum was learning all about the Prison Rodeo and being locked in a cell! I am hoping that is the only time I ever have to go to jail in my life!

The Sam Houston Museum also had a lot of great info and a replica of the house he died in.

What did your Spring Break look like?

Always Remember, "Sometimes you have to live on the wild side have faith and trust that everything is going to be okay."
