Cheers to 2025!

Hi Friends,

Happy New Year! 2025 was a blast! God blessed my family with so many opportunities and adventures and for this post I would like to highlight my favorite memories!

January was fun just because it was the start of a new year! I just knew that 2025 was going to be the best...but I'm pretty sure I have always said that! I won't lie though 2025 was an adventure! There was no dull month of last year, we always had something to look forward to. The Lord has really blessed us!

Woohoo!! It is almost the year anniversary of this blog! I can't believe it! Thank you all for  reading these posts and supporting me every step of the way! This of course is my favorite moment of February! I love sharing with ya'll the highs and lows of my life!

March and April were filled with taekwondo activities. We got together with some friends and painted the school all black. We even added a rock wall which the kids love! We really tried to make it feel like a second home!

June and July was Summer fun! We filled our days with camps, beach trips and relaxing in our pool! I look forward to summer every year! Although we do school during the summer, we still make time for all our fun activities!

August, September and October are my favorite months of the whole year because of cross country! I love getting the team back together and racing! This last year at my favorite race Gatesville, we had to compete in the pouring down rain and mud! Which was fine by me because I have always wanted to do a mud run! My exact words to my mom were, "I am running this race even if they cancel..I'll just run the course by myself!"

November is extra special because it is my birthday month! This year we did a book trip where we went to the Austin Public Library and a book store! November is also Thanksgiving!! Thanksgiving food is my favorite and I always eat it twice and then have leftovers...it's not every day you get to eat turkey and gravy! I also enjoy getting to see my family that I don't see often.

December is of course the "Most Wonderful Time of the Year!" Christmas is a big deal in our family, we decorate usually right after Thanksgiving or a few days before. Making our house feel like we live in a Christmas movie...minus the snow. (Ba Humbug Texas!!) Our festivities last the whole month of December whether we are making cookies, watching Christmas movies or seeing lights. This year we even went to Arkansas right before Christmas and stayed in an adorable cabin!

That was alot but I wanted to show you all the incredible memories I got to make this past year!! Have a Blessed 2026!!

Always Remember: "Sometimes you have to live on the wildside, have faith and trust that everything is going to be okay!"
